I want to serve and represent all of North Georgia.

I am not and will never be influenced by outside interests. No corporation, Super PAC or celebrity will influence how I vote and defend the people of Georgia and District 14.

  • Prices have gone up, wages have stayed the same, or gone down. I don’t believe in running for election and then doing nothing about the problems all of us face. I know what it’s like to work for a living since I started working at Sears as a college student. When elected, I will enact legislation to:

    • Charter an RDIC (Rural Direct Investment Corporation) to fuel innovation and growth for lower and middle income businessmen and entrepreneurs with low interest, advantaged loans. Why should small businesses pay higher interest on smaller loans?

    • Instead of a 50-year term mortgage, I aim to authorize through legislation increases in FHA (First-Time Homebuyers) loans to give cheaper FHA loans to middle class people. The American Dream is here to stay.

    • Increase opportunity zones by promoting President Trump’s plan to include more rural districts in opportunity zones and increase jobs in rural areas like District 14. Good paying jobs should not only be in Atlanta.

  • Taxes should be lower, quality of life should be higher. Simplifying the tax code will be one of my priorities. You shouldn’t have to hire an accountant or vendor to tell you how to file. If you have one or two incomes, it should be easy. I will make tax rates lower, easier to understand, so you can keep more in your pocket without having to worry about filing correctly.

For volunteering at charitable, tax exempt organizations, I will ensure we create tax credits for volunteer work, so your charity helps pay a reduced rate of taxation even if you don’t donate money, just time.

Our budget should be balanced. I will vote against any budget that increases the deficit. Additionally, I will sponsor a constitutional amendment that will result in everyone, Senator and Congressman, losing their seat if they pass an unbalanced budget once the budget is balanced. I would rather lose my job than bury the next generation in debt.

  • I will eliminate the gag rule on churches, and investigate bias against churches. Churches should be free to speak their mind on any topic, and having the IRS threaten the tax exempt status of a church because of free speech is not constitutional, and I will explicitly outlaw censorship of churches.

People should be free to worship and speak their mind: it’s what this country was founded on. If we don’t have freedom to pray for one another, we won’t be able to save ourselves.

  • Education starts at home, and allowing for more resources to go to school choice, homeschooling, and other alternative schooling methods are critical to educating the next generation.

But school isn’t just about going to college either. Providing additional classes at the K-12 level students to experience all job sectors is critical in a world with AI. The next generation will need to navigate unique challenges with eyes open, and they should know what they want to do in life before the choose vocational school or university.

  • Our elections must be secure, with no doubt as to who won or how they won. As such, I will authorize legislation mandating voter ID at all polls nationwide, and paper ballots. Additionally, in other countries with democracies like us, they are able to know the winning candidate the night of, or morning after. I will make sure we don’t wait days to know who won the election. With election integrity, we will have faith in who is elected, and who isn’t.

  • Energy is great when it’s cheap, affordable and clean. While solar and wind are great for small homesteads, coal, gas and nuclear make for a brighter future. No California style blackouts, no power bill gouging. If it can be done effectively, safely and cleanly, the government doesn’t need to intervene. Logical steps to modernize are fine if it is done practically and with respect for consumers as well as the environment.

  • I will do whatever it takes to put America in the strongest possible position. If a foreign policy goal does not support an America First outcome, I will not be a part of it.

  • Right now health insurance has run amok in every household budget. When cost of care, cost of access, and insurance coverage claims denial puts millions of people in the hole, that’s wrong. I know this from personal experience with both my own health, which opened my eyes to the broken system we are locked in to, and my family. I’ve seen million dollar surgeries, and thousand-dollar-a-month medications. It’s wrong.

If you’re buying insurance and you don’t get what you pay for, I will enact legislation to ensure you get exactly what you pay for. When you or your child is sick, you need medical care not claims litigation. Here’s what I’ll do:

    • Simplify how insurance works by mandating plain english terms and conditions for health insurance. Corporations cannot use dense legal jargon to renege on promises they made when you bought the policy.

    • Eliminate Pharmacy Benefit Managers from the medication decision making process. Corporations should not be allowed to make medical choices that are between you and your doctor. If your doctor prescribes it, and it’s FDA approved for the treatment, the insurance company must pay, no questions asked.

    • Eliminate separate negotiated rates between hospitals and insurance companies. Often times, insurance companies will over-charge for medication and medical devices and get the patient to pay full cost plus a premium. With my legislation, I won’t allow patients to get ripped off by insurance companies and allow the corporations to pocket the profit they made lying to patients.

    • Unifying billing rates at point of care will help reduce costs. Hospitals will no longer be able to change different rates for different payment methods and times. You can pay at the hospital, you can pay in arrears, but they can’t change the amount due if you pay on time.

    • No estimates, only guaranteed quotes. Hospitals and insurance companies play games with patients by keeping you guessing what the final bill will be. Under my plan, that ends. Hospitals can give you a range, and may never exceed the upper end of that range. For hospitals that max out their range consistently, additional taxes and audits will be conducted by required third-party auditors.

  • Defending our police and other law enforcement is one of my top priorities. With the increase in crime statewide, I will ensure all jurisdictions cooperate and effectively catch criminals. Additionally, I will author legislation to give additional resources to small towns and cities to ease the burden of law enforcement while still providing fair salaries to our first responders.
